115 students from the Accounting Department at the University of Bahrain participated in the third edition of the Universities Challenge. Organized by the College of Business Administration in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the competition featured 23 teams competing in a dynamic academic challenge.

The competition was moderated by Dr. Gagan Kukreja, Associate Professor of Accounting, who supervised the students during three interactive rounds designed to test their general knowledge and accounting expertise gained throughout their studies in an engaging and competitive atmosphere.

ACCA recognized the top three teams with valuable prizes and certificates of appreciation. The event also welcomed Mr. Ahmed Bilal (Regional Business Relationship Executive) and Ms. Ruqaiyah Abbas (Business Relationship Executive) from ACCA Middle East, who delivered an insightful lecture on the benefits of ACCA certification.

The Department of Accounting at the College of Business Administration will continue to organize these activities and events in cooperation with ACCA and other professional bodies to enhance students’ readiness for the labor market by developing their academic and professional capabilities and improving their general skills.
