13 scientific researches from several countries in the new issue of JAAUBAS

 

news 23 10 2017 3The Journal of the Union of Arab Universities for Basic and Applied Sciences “JAAUBAS” has published Issue No. (23). The journal, issued by the General Secretariat of the Association of Colleges of Science members of the Association of Arab Universities and printed in the University of Bahrain Press, is headed by the Dean of the College of Science at the University of Bahrain.

Prof. Mohammad El-Hilo, editor-in-chief of the magazine, Secretary General of the Association of Colleges of Science members of the Association of Arab Universities, has said: “The new issue of the journal, published in July 2017, contains 13 papers, including two papers from India in Applied Chemistry, three researches from India, Morocco and Egypt in Environmental Chemistry, one research from Malaysia in Life Science Technology, four researches from Egypt, Pakistan and India in Applied Mathematics, one research from China and America in Numerical Mathematics, one research from Algeria in Stable Mathematics Solutions, and another from India in Applied Software.”

Prof. Mohammad El-Hilo added that the journal is distinguished in researches in Environmental Chemistry, pointing out that it is one of the most cited topics by researchers and publishers in other international journals. He also pointed that the journal tends to specialize in the subjects of the most cited research topics, instead of publishing all research in the various fields of basic and applied sciences.

The journal was founded by Prof. Waheeb Essa Al-Naser, then the journal’s editor-in-chief, the first issue being in 2005. The journal joined Elsevier, the International Journal Publishing House System, in 2010. The journal’s website was created by Elsevier, and has now produced 15 issues. The journal receives researches from a wide geographical area, including Asia, Africa and Europe.

The journal is regularly published three times a year (October, March, and July), and all of the research published through Elsevier appears within Scopus global databases.

The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Riyad Yousef Hamzah, promotes the scientific journals issued by the University of Bahrain to be in the ranks of the international journals, encouraging faculty members to research in international standards and publish in distinguished international journals in order to improve the reputation of the University of Bahrain and its ranking.
