The President of the University of Bahrain Receives a Copy of the Book “The Educational and Developmental Role of Media in Combating Corruption”

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, received at the University’s premises in Sakhir, on Thursday January 12,2023, the Head of the Second Educational Zone Schools, Dr. Suhair Sanad Al-Muhannadi, who presented her with a copy of her book titled “The Educational and Development Role of Media in Combating Corruption.”

 

The of the University of Bahrain President commended the themes of the book, stressing that it enriches the national library of Bahrain. Al-Mudhahka lauded the important issues the book addressed, which are in line with the directions of the Kingdom of Bahrain related to boosting the role of the media as well as combating corruption. She stated that such publications are of a high value, particularly in the light of their scarcity in the Arab library.

 

The book touched on the phenomenon of corruption, its concept, characteristics and causes, the media strategy to combat corruption, creating a culture of integrity in the Bahraini community, and the role of media in combating corruption.

 

For her part, Dr. Al-Mohannadi said she takes pride in meeting with the President of the University, Dr. Al-Mudhahka, stressing that she seeks to continue to research and write about the main roles the media plays in the various fields, as one of the factors creating public awareness.
