The President of the University of Bahrain Receives the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Clemens Augustinus, at the university’s premises in Sakhir on Monday January 25, 2023. Dr. Al-Mudhahka discussed with the German ambassador means of collaboration across several fields, including concluding scientific and research agreements with German universities and exchange of scientific expertise between the University of Bahrain and universities of the Federal Republic of Germany.

 

The president of the university stressed the vital role played by Bahraini diplomatic missions in developing scientific and cultural relations between countries. She noted the importance of strengthening international relations, and establishing broad scientific ties, through the exchange of cultural and scientific experiences, and the joint scientific research between universities at the regional and international levels.

 

For his part, Ambassador Clemens Augustinus lauded the scientific and research role of the University of Bahrain. He affirmed his keenness to enhance collaboration and consolidate relations with countries of the world in areas of scientific research. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the University for the warm reception, wishing her success in her endeavors to develop university education.

 

The meeting was attended by Vice President of the University of Bahrain for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammad Reda Qader, and the Consul of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Selke Berti.
