The University of Bahrain Holds Graduation Ceremony for Students of Mass Communication and Arabic language and literature at the College of Arts

The Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammad Bulaileh, said “In 2022, the College of Arts obtained an international accreditation certificate from the British Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC), achieving (Premier Institution) rank, which is the highest classification. Dr. Bulaileh noted that this academic achievement is exceptional in the history of this prestigious college. He stressed that this achievement is the outcome of the support of the university administration, and the concerted efforts of the academic and administrative staff of the College of Arts as well as the students.

 

Dr. Bulaileh made this statement in the speech he gave on Saturday January 28, 2023, at the graduation ceremony of the 24th batch of university students, which is being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister for (2017/2018 – 2020/2021) batches. The ceremony included the graduation of 733 students in the majors of mass media and Arabic language and literature, out of 2209 graduates of the College of Arts.

 

The Dean of the College addressed the students, “You are now reaping the fruits of your scientific achievement. You are the future leaders who will shape a more prosperous future. You should take pride for being graduates of the University of Bahrain.” He mentioned that the College of Arts is constantly striving to develop its academic programs, and update the level of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, in line with the requirements of the changing labor market, and the global developments in modern sciences. He stressed the importance of global, regional, and local academic partnerships, to achieve aspirations of the College.

 

Graduate Salma Hussain Al-Taytoon gave the graduation speech in which she expressed the graduates’ happiness.  Al-Taytoon said, “We take pride in the University of Bahrain, which is a great scientific edifice that graduates generations who contribute to the renaissance of this great country.”

 

 

 

Al-Taytoon added, “Our national university is still witnessing great developments in its academic programs that consider the requirements of the labor market and its need for highly qualified human resources. The University has also strived to provide a proper environment to help increase their academic achievement.”

 

The graduates received their graduation certificates from the Vice President for IT Services, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, in the presence of the graduates’ parents and relatives who took photos with them in the university lobby and external facilities.
