UoB Business Incubator Concludes the First Semester with Four Training Courses in Entrepreneurship

The Business Incubation Center at the University of Bahrain (UoB) held four online training courses during the months of October and November of the first semester 2022/2023, on success stories in entrepreneurship, which were attended by several students.
The “Harmony of Technology and Business” course was presented by Sadeq Abdulrasool, Chief Digital Officer at Homiez. He discussed how to obtain the appropriate variety of skills that help progress and manage a project, through his experience in dealing with technology as a tool that contributes to business management. In addition to defining the digital gap, and the role of technology in managing business activity.
In addition, Bahraini entrepreneur Mohammed Toraif presented a lecture titled “Bootstrapping Your Idea”, in which he discussed how to turn a business idea into reality, by identifying the market, building a minimum viable product (MVP), then getting feedback, and further fixing errors.
While the Co-Founder of Maternally, Ramzi Qannati, stressed the importance of companies in positively impacting society, in a lecture titled “Beyond Business”, in which he reviewed the values generated by institutions or companies of all kinds, and ways to measure the impact of financing, responsible, sustainable, and impactful companies.
Moreover, the CEO of Nawat Holding B.S.C. Sayed Hussain Sharaf, gave a lecture titled “The Power of the Idea”, stressing the importance of ideas that change work or commercial activity and the world, noting that one idea can bring other ideas, and it outweighs money in importance, pointing to the need to take small steps after choosing the idea, looking for the right partner, and committing to it.
