UoB Provides Guidance to High School Students at INJAZ Bahrain Career Expo

The University of Bahrain (UoB) booth at INJAZ Bahrain Career Expo 2023 received great engagement from high school students and fresh graduates, with the counselling services and guidance it provided. The University participated in the inaugural edition of the exhibition, through the office of the Vice President for Community Service and Alumni Affairs, and the Deanship of Admission and Registration.

As affiliates of the Career Counselling Office at UoB provided guidance on the specializations that are in-demand by the labor market, how to write a resume, and the opportunity to be trained and employed in light of the competition.  The specialists in the Deanship of Admission and Registration answered the inquiries of high school students, regarding admission requirements for studying at UoB, and the newly offered specializations.

“INJAZ Bahrain” organized the career expo under the auspices of the Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, and in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INJAZ Bahrain, as it was held on Friday and Saturday (24 and 25 February 2023) at the American University.

The Career Counselling Office is one of the established pillars of UoB, as is a bridge that connects the University’s students and graduates, and the various sectors of the labor market in the Kingdom and abroad. The Office provides counseling and professional services that help students and graduates make the right decisions based on their interests and abilities on the one hand, and on the needs of the labor market on the other hand.
