The President of University of Bahrain Receives MP Abdullah Al-Rumaihi

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, received Member of Parliament Abdullah Khalifa Al-Rumaihi at the university’s premises in Sakhir, on Wednesday March 1, 2023.

 

The University of Bahrain President reviewed with MP Al-Rumaihi, the university’s most prominent achievements and future projects. She noted the development plans for academic programs, the University’s regional and global partnerships, the requirements of sustainable development and Bahrain’s Vision 2030 and its executive programs.

 

Dr. Al-Mudhahka confirmed the University seeks to graduate cadres with skills and capabilities necessary for jobs and professions that are compatible with the Fourth Industrial Revolution as well as the local and international labor markets.

 

She also emphasized the University of Bahrain’ keenness on training young people scientifically and psychologically, and fueling their initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, to make full use of their capabilities, in line with developments in all fields.

 

For his part, MP Al-Rumaihi praised the University’s plans and its endeavor to provide the Kingdom of Bahrain with highly qualified and trained human resources to keep pace with global technological development. He lauded the University’s role in qualifying creative entrepreneurs capable of conveying their experiences and creativity in all Arab and international forums.

 

The meeting was attended by the Vice President for IT Services, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder.
