The President of the University of Bahrain and the Senior Management Hold Open Dialogue with the Affiliates of the Bahrain Teachers College

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, stressed the importance of the role played by the Bahrain Teachers College in supporting the education process in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She lauded the efforts of BTC’s staff members in the academic and research fields, as well as community service.

 

Dr. Al-Mudhahka made this statement in the open dialogue she and the Vice-Presidents held with members of the academic and administrative staff of the Bahrain Teachers College on Thursday March 2, 2023, in the E-Learning Center, as part of a series of meetings conducted with the academic and administrative staff of the colleges at the University of Bahrain.

 

The meeting addressed the questions and proposals of faculty members regarding training opportunities for both students and faculty members, ways to promote scientific research, and participation in local and regional seminars and conferences. Dr. Al-Mudhahka stressed that all proposals shall be considered, and efforts will be made to implement them.

 

The questions of attendants were answered by the President of the University, Vice President for Community Service and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Saleh Al-Ansari, Vice President for IT Services, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammad Reda Qader, and the Acting Dean of Bahrain Teachers College Dr. Lucy Bailey.

 

This meeting is part of a series of meetings held by the President of the University of Bahrain, with administrative bodies of all colleges of UoB, to converse with and explore their views on improving and developing work at the University of Bahrain.
