UoB Launches Two Tenders for Information Technology Services and Cleaning Services for SMEs

In implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision to allocate a share of 20% of the value of government tenders to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and as part of the second set of initiatives to support SMEs in the updated plan of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council for the years (2022-2026), the University of Bahrain (UoB) is launching two tenders in the commercial sector for SMEs.

The first tender, “(USMS) University Surveys Management System”, is related to an information technology system that supports higher education and quality assurance institutions in conducting opinion polls at the university level and supports smooth and direct integration with the university’s information technology systems.

While the second tender is on the provision of cleaning services to the Bahrain Teachers College, by providing distinguished service on a daily and continuous basis for all classes, halls, laboratories and toilets.

The University urged SMEs wishing to participate in the two tenders to register in the SMEs Registration System through the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, to obtain a certificate of classification of SMEs, and to register in the electronic bidding system of the Tenders Board.
