College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain Highlights the Keys to Academic Success

The Department of Accounting, College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain organized an interactive lecture for university students, on Sunday March 19, 2023, titled “Top Tips for Academic Success”, which was attended by some university students.

The lecture was presented by the Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting, Dr. Najeeba Abdullah Alzaimoor, and the Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting, Dr. Noura Abdel-Rahman. They shed light on the top tips and keys to achieving academic success and a fruitful university life, so that students can graduate from the university within the specified time and acquire a group of high skills and competencies, to be ready to enter the labor market smoothly.

The lecture presented a set of tips on study methods, how to prepare for exams, acquire skills related to the course or major, assess learning strategies and methods, and set short and long-term goals and ways to achieve them.

Dr. Abdel-Rahman stressed that students should visit the academic advisor and faculty members on a regular basis, to learn about the study plans and available professional certificates and discuss the challenges facing them and ways to overcome them.

Dr. Al-Zemmour emphiasized the need to develop personal skills, including self-awareness, self-management, and self-discipline, in addition to paying attention to the health aspect, by maintaining physical and psychological well-being, participating in university activities, and balancing academic and social life.
