Postgraduate Students in UoB’s “Business Administration” Join A Thesis Writing Seminar

The Department of Economics and Finance at the College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain (UoB) organized a seminar on “How to Write a Master’s Thesis Proposal”, on Tuesday (April 11, 2023), which was attended by a number of postgraduate students who are beginning to prepare their theses, and faculty members.

The online seminar was presented by Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance, Dr. Ammar Barham Jreisat, and Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance, Dr. Ali Murad, where they introduced the students to the process of writing and preparing a master’s thesis proposal.

As Dr. Jreisat stressed the importance of finding opposing arguments for the subject of the thesis, responding to them with evidence, and choosing the appropriate methodology for the thesis subject, whether quantitative, qualitative, or mixed.

For his part, Dr. Murad explained the importance of choosing a thesis topic that adds value, main questions of value, and developing an integrated research plan to write the thesis.
