At the Reception of a Delegation from BIBF Dr. Al Mudhahka Stresses the Importance of Training Programs in Promoting Innovation and Preparing Qualified Cadres

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahka, confirmed the National University’s keenness to engage its members in programs and training courses, to enhance innovation and excellence, and raise the efficiency of performance, within the economic recovery plan, and in line with the goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

This came on Wednesday (May 10, 2023), during the reception of Dr. Al-Mudhahka of the CEO of Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al-Sheikh, and Director of Insurance, Manal Mashkoor, at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, to discuss ways of cooperation and academic training.

Dr. Al-Mudhahka confirmed the importance of the Institute in providing specialized training programs, contributing to the preparation of qualified cadres in the financial services sector and economic sectors, who have the professional knowledge and ethics of the professions in which they are concerned, in order to enhance the capabilities of youth cadres, and meet the requirements of local and global labor markets.

For his part, the CEO of BIBF reviewed the latest training and educational opportunities provided by the Institute, as well as professional and academic programs that aim to promote innovation in banking, finance, insurance, leadership, project management, assessment and development, marketing, sales and public relations, and others.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Ansari, Vice President for Community Service and Alumni Affairs, Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammed Reda Qader, Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Abdullah Khaled Al-Jalahma, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the College of Information Technology, Dr. Amal Mohammed Al-Rayes.
