An Academian from the University of Bahrain Participates in Arbitration of Annual Innovation Award at Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University

Dr. Nehal Ali Al-Murbati, a faculty member at the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain, was selected as one of the arbitrators of the annual innovation award of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The Award is aimed at spreading and instilling the culture of innovation and creativity among university affiliates, as well as introducing sustainable innovative solutions to social problems.

 

Dr. Al-Murbati participated in the arbitration of the projects of engineering, and the multi-disciplinary innovative studies. The evaluation and arbitration committee of the projects was formed by virtue of a resolution of the Vice President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, and it included members with distinguished experiences and innovators from various disciplines.

 

The evaluation committee assumed the tasks of sorting, examining, evaluating the submissions based on criteria of the Award, nominating, and selecting the winners, as well as maintaining the confidentiality of information on the innovative ideas of entities and individuals.

 

Dr. Al-Murbati expressed her happiness with the arbitration experience, during which she was briefed on aspects of the efforts of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University to develop and promote innovation. She noted the awards’ role in supporting and stimulating the knowledge industry in universities and higher education institutions.
