UoB and RUW Discuss Ways of Research and Academic Cooperation

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, and the President of the Royal University for Women (RUW), Prof. Dr. Yusra Ali Mouzughi, discussed ways of academic and research cooperation, and the possibilities of cooperation between the two institutions, in order to meet the development needs and requirements of the labor market.

Upon receiving Prof. Dr. Mouzughi on Sunday (June 4, 2023) at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, Dr. Al-Ansari stressed the need to develop academic and training programs, to accommodate aspects of research and innovation, and support the education process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition, Prof. Dr. Mouzughi reviewed the developments of the academic and training programs at RUW, and their keeping up with the requirements of the local and international labor markets. In addition, she congratulated the President of UoB for obtaining the royal confidence to lead the National University, wishing him continuous success in his new position.

The presidents of the two universities discussed the most significant academic development programs, ways to support scientific research, and aspects of cooperation for the benefit of both parties.

The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Academic Studies, Dr. John Pierre, from RUW.
