A Daily Average of 10,000 Examinees and Results on the 16th this Month UOB President Praises the Efforts of The Organizing Committees during the Exams

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, confirmed that the final exams are a method for measuring the students cognitive development, calling for positively dealing with them, given that exams, difficulties and challenges are part of the necessities of life and seeking knowledge.

The period of final exams at UoB for the second semester of the current academic year 2022/2023 began last Wednesday (May 31, 2023), and is scheduled to continue until Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Dr. Al-Ansari praised the organizational efforts made by the competent authorities in the various colleges, deanships, and departments, to ensure that the examinations – in the three periods – run smoothly, noting the graceful behavior of male and female students, and their discipline and cooperation with the organizing committees.

The President of the University said: “The University of Bahrain is always keen to provide the best atmosphere that helps students study and learn at different times, especially during the exam period,” notifying students who face any difficulties or problems during the exam period, to review the relevant departments at the University, such as the Guidance and Counseling Department of the Deanship of Student Affairs, to receive appropriate advice and directives.

For her part, the Dean of Admission and Registration at the University, Dr. Amal Ibrahim Al-Zayed, stated that the daily average of examinees amounted to 10,239 students, noting that about 10,600 students took exams for about 450 academic sections on Monday (June 6, 2023).

In addition, she stressed that “the examinations ran easily and smoothly in various sections, thanks to the cooperation of the students and their parents and their adherence to the organizational directives and procedures.”.

Regarding the date of the results announcement, Dr. Al-Zayed stated: “The results of the second semester of the current academic year will be announced on June 16, 2023, provided that the grievance period regarding courses results will begin on June 18, 2023, to the 26th of the same month.”.
