The University of Bahrain and West Virginia University Discuss Promoting Cooperation and Exchanging Experiences

The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, stressed the importance of cooperative partnership between the University of Bahrain and various public and private educational institutions, at the local and international levels, to enhance educational outcomes and respond to the demands of the labor market.

 

Dr. Al-Ansari met with Associate Provost for International Relations, West Virginia University, USA, Dr. David Stewart, on Wednesday June 7, 2023.  During the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of cooperative partnership, to exchange experiences between the two universities.

 

For his part, Dr. Stewart welcomed cooperation between the two universities and stressed the importance of focusing on practical and applied skills of students, and providing them with the best training programs, to improve university outcomes. The two parties discussed enhancing cooperation and integration in the field of training and scientific research and reviewed the latest developments in the best interests of both parties.

 

The meeting was attended by UoB Vice President for Academic Programs and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammad Reda Qader, and Executive Director for Overseas Operations, West Virginia University Dr. Maria Casoria.
