UoB: An Emergency Malfunction in Air Conditioning of Three Buildings Has Been Fixed and It Will Start Functioning Normally During the Weekend

The University of Bahrain (UoB) reported that it had finished fixing the air-conditioning problem witnessed in some of the University’s buildings during the past days. Air-conditioning in one of the buildings started functioning normally, and it is scheduled to be the same for the rest of the buildings during the weekend.

The University stated that the central air-conditioning system had a technical problem due to a partial breakdown of the main water system on the University campus in Sakhir. The maintenance team, in cooperation with specialized companies, repaired the malfunction in one of the main water pumps, noting that the air conditioners operate with a water-cooling system, and a major malfunction in one of the pumps caused this emergency problem.

The University extends its apologies to its dear students and members of the academic and administrative staff for the inconvenience caused by this malfunction.
