Dr. Al-Ansari: Accepting All Applicants Who Meet the Requirements According to Their Academic Averages UoB Approves the List of Accepted Students and Invites Them to Confirm Admission

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, has approved the results of admission of students applying to join the University for the academic year (2023/2024) who have met the admission requirements, based on competitiveness according to the cumulative averages in secondary school.

Dr. Al-Ansari confirmed that the national university continues to embrace secondary school graduates who have an average of 70% or more, according to the program’s capacity in its various colleges.

The University was able to accept a large percentage of its enrollment applications, thanks to the great support that the national university receives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, noting that this generous support reflects the level of confidence in the University’s ability to continue to perform its pivotal role and supply the labor market with qualified graduates.

The UoB President congratulated the students who were accepted on this distinguished entitlement to transfer to the university level, stressing that the national university will harness all its capabilities to incubate them in the university life and help them realize academic and cognitive achievements, in order to continue their scientific career and achieve the best results in a favorable academic environment.

For her part, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Amal Zayed Ibrahim Al-Zayed, stated that students (Bahrainis and non-Bahrainis) from inside and outside the Kingdom can view the admission results by entering the student information system https://sis.uob.edu.bh as of today (Thursday) corresponding to July 20, 2023, by entering the aforementioned link and clicking on the (UOB Admission Requests) service, then clicking on the (UOB Admission Requests) link. After that, select the (Post Admission Services) service, and accordingly, enter (User Name = University ID – and Password = Personal Number). Also, students (Bahrainis and non-Bahrainis) can view their results by entering the e-government portal (bahrain.bh).

 

Moreover, Dr. Al-Zayed called applicants to read what is included in the UoB regulations, and to register their approval, followed by confirmation of admission and payment of fees from Thursday, 20 July 2023, to Sunday, 31 July 2023. During the same period, students who have confirmed their admission and wish to register in another academic program can change their preferences, and the process of examining and fulfilling applications will take place according to the conditions of admission therein, if there are vacancies in such majors.

The Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Amal Zayed Al-Zayed, stressed the importance for students wishing to enroll in the University to perform the admission confirmation process electronically during the mentioned period, by paying the fees through the e-government portal, SADAD machines, or the SADAD application, in order to preserve their academic opportunity and seats in the academic programs in which they were accepted.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration said that students will be later notified about the dates to receive classes schedules, and complete the registration procedures for the first semester, which begins on 17 September 2023.

Furthermore, the Deanship stated that students who applied to join the University and did not find seats in their preferred majors have been included in a waiting list, and they must enter the student information system https://sis.uob.edu.bh to re-confirm their request to join the University, and choose new majors according to the available seats.
