Selected As the President of The First Gulf Healthcare and Sport Congress to Be Held in November Dr. Al-Ansari Calls for The Use of Technology and Research Findings in The Promotion of Comprehensive Health

Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain (UoB) and President of the First Gulf Healthcare and Sport Congress, called for employing modern technology and benefiting from the findings of scientific research in promoting comprehensive health for all.
The first Gulf Healthcare and Sport Congress is scheduled to be held under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, on November 9 and 10, 2023, at the Diplomat Hotel.
As the Congress’ Higher Committee had chosen Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari as president of the Congress, in light of the high scientific and academic expertise that he possesses, which contributes to the success of the event and the achievement of its goals.
On this occasion, Dr. Al-Ansari explained that the scientific and organizational committees are working diligently towards the success of the congress, which will attract scientific and international competencies in various disciplines. As the committees strive to achieve the greatest benefit from the Congress, which will be the focus of attention, stressing that the Congress aims to shed light on the developments in the field of healthcare, sports and modern practices in the two fields in light of modern technology, and the findings of new scientific research, to achieve comprehensive health for all in the physical, mental and psychological aspects.
The Congress will be hosted by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Yarmouk University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the international expert and consultant in nursing sciences, Prof. Dr. Rowaida Al Maaitah, Dean of Oman College of Health Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Mustafa Fahmy, and the specialist in sports and performance sciences from Kuwait University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Serafy, in addition to a number of international, gulf and local speakers in the field of healthcare and sports.
This event, which is organized by UoB in cooperation with Education Plus, comes in the context of the continuous work to improve the educational sector in health and sports aspects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and it is the first of its kind in the GCC region.
