The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, praised the role of the World Youth International Foundation for public relations, education, training and events in empowering Bahraini youth and students seeking training, and providing them with knowledge to build and develop their capabilities to serve society, noting that investing in young national cadres is an essential pillar in promoting development and prosperity in the Kingdom.
This came during a meeting between Dr. Al Ansari and the CEO of the World Youth International Foundation for Public Relations, Education, Training and Events, Mr. Thaer Mustafa, where the idea of launching a national initiative titled: “Youth Bank Community” was discussed, according to specific strategies and programs, aimed at empowering young people and investing in their energies.
Dr. Al-Ansari stressed the importance of providing direct support to young people to achieve the initiative, by enhancing their knowledge, and providing them with education and experience, by establishing an incubator for the youth community, which facilitates the process of their involvement in training and rehabilitation programs, to help them become effective and active citizens with a positive impact on society.
The World Youth International Foundation for Public Relations, Education, Training and Events is one of the private Bahraini institutions registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and is interested in launching specific programs, projects and initiatives that ensure supporting youth in the Kingdom, in order to achieve sustainable development goals.
In addition, Mustafa explained that the aim of the initiative is to pay attention to the youth and their various initiatives and embrace them, support and refine their competence, provide them with labor market skills, and prepare them – as an elite group of Bahraini youth – to excel in various fields and specializations.
He stated: “Our foundation wishes to cooperate with the National University, in order to help empower, qualify and train Bahraini youth, through the foundation’s various activities, events and training programs, in partnership with various institutions.”.
Furthermore, Mustafa noted that the initiative – which is consistent with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – seeks to create a pioneering, distinguished and qualified Bahraini youth community, pointing to its message, to advance youth by providing rehabilitation, training and educational services in specific programs, and raising their capabilities to have individuals who are more determined and capable of participating in activities that develop and serve the community, stressing the provision of the necessary support to young Bahraini cadres, by state institutions and civil society organizations, and creating job opportunities for them.
The meeting was attended by: Vice President of the University’s Information Technology Services and Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Osama Abdullah Al-Jowder, a number of university officials, and a number of the initiative’s officials and students affiliated with it.
