During the Reception of the ICT Entrepreneur, Waleed Kanoo Dr. Al-Ansari Stresses the Importance of Involving the Private Sector to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals in The Kingdom

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, stressed the importance of community partnership and cooperation with all professional sectors, in order to achieve sustainable development goals in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This came during Dr. Al-Ansari’s reception of the information and communications technology (ICT) entrepreneur, Waleed Ibrahim Kanoo, at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, where he discussed the prospects for cooperation between UoB and the of technology, information technology, communications, and entrepreneurship sectors, to serve the educational process at the University. He praised the role of the private sector in supporting the educational process and its contribution to advancing the pace of sustainable development in the Kingdom.

In turn, Kanoo praised UoB’s role in advancing university education, all the achievements it has accomplished, and its role in providing the public and private sectors with efficient student outputs, trained to perform work with high quality, as well as the academic programs it offers, which are compatible with the needs of the labor market. The meeting was attended by the Director of the E-Learning Center at UoB, Dr. Abdullah Al Khalifa.
