UoB Explains Efficient Project Management Strategies to Its Employees

Several of the University of Bahrain (UoB) employees learned how to “manage projects” in a training course organized by the Personnel Affairs Department, which aimed to provide participants with the necessary skills and tools to organize and manage projects efficiently and effectively.

The course was presented by the Computer Network Engineering Manager at the University’s Information Technology Center, Ahmed Mohammed Abu Aish, who indicated that the course content helps improve efficiency and productivity, and reduce costs, errors, and risks. It also helps improve the institution’s public relations and enhance its ability to adapt to various changes.

Moreover, Abu Aish spoke about fundamental concepts in project management, such as: setting project objectives, change management, resource planning, risk management, scheduling and implementation, in addition to monitoring progress. Additionally, he explained the importance of effective communication, how to deal with challenges, and teams management.

Based on his experience in project management, Abu Aish presented some practical strategies in project management, and answered the participants’ inquiries and questions.
