Dr. Al-Ansari Praises the Efforts of the King Sejong Institute in Teaching the Korean Language at the University The President of UoB and the Korean Ambassador Discuss Developing Academic and Research Relations

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, stressed the importance of the vital role played by diplomatic missions in developing scientific and cultural relations between universities, and creating broad scientific horizons, by facilitating the exchange of professors, exchanging scientific expertise, and producing joint scientific research.

This came during Dr. Al-Ansari’s meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. HeonSang Koo, on Wednesday (November 1, 2023) at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, where the two parties discussed available means of cooperation in several areas, including facilitating the conclusion of scientific and research agreements with Korean research centers, and exchanging scientific expertise between UoB and Korean universities.

Moreover, the University President reviewed aspects of UoB’s plans, and discussed with the ambassador several aspects related to representing UoB abroad and developing international scientific relations, in addition to enhancing the quality of research to serve mutual interests in several fields, including: social sciences, humanities, business, technology, economics, and others. In addition, he praised the advanced relations at the scientific and academic level between UoB and university education and research institutions in the Republic of South Korea, as well as the development of the work of the King Sejong Institute at the University.

For his part, Ambassador Koo praised the scientific and research role of UoB, stressing his keenness to enhance cooperation, and strengthen and consolidate relations, to achieve the maximum scientific and research benefit for both sides, expressing his deep thanks and appreciation to the University President, Dr. Al-Ansari for his warm reception.
