Students of University Of Bahrain Excel in Bahrain Society of Engineers’ “Best Graduation Project” Award

Students of College of Engineering, University of Bahrain won first places in the Best Graduation Project Award for students of engineering colleges at local universities in four out of the five categories of the Bahrain Society of Engineers Award in its fourth edition.
On this occasion, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, expressed pride in UOB students for the results they achieveat the local, regional, and global levels in the various scientific competitions. He stressed the importance of such experiences in improving students’ practical skills, developing their experiences, and opening future professional horizons for them.
Dr. Al-Ansari lauded the contributions of the Bahrain Society of Engineers and its encouragement of students to be creative and innovative through its annual award. He called on all students to participate in the next edition, the registration process of which has already begun.
Dr. Raida Sayed Kazim Al-Alawi, President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers, honored the winners in a celebration held by the Society, on Bahraini Engineer’s Day.
Students of University of Bahrain won the first three places in the Best Graduation Project Award in Architecture. The student Hussein Khalil Ibrahim won the first place, student Zainab Jaafar Al-Halal won the second place, and student Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Hajri won the third place.
In the Electrical and Electronic Engineering category, a team of UoB students consisting of Ali Abdul Hadi Abdul Amir, Hamza Jaafar Ahmed, and Mahmoud Muhammad Hussein won the first place. Another team of UoB students consisting of Abdul Rahman Yasser Al-Atawi, Mohammad Saeed Mahdi, and Angelo Issa Mohammad won second place.
In the Chemical Engineering category, a team of UoB students consisting of Abdullah Hamza Jaafar, Ahmed Mansour Ahmed, and Ali Majeed Abbas won the first place. Another team of UoB students consisting of Khalil Ali Al-Muhaiza, Mohammad Nasr Al-Din Al-Mubarak, and Abdullah Mohammad. Al-Anazi won second place.
In the category of mechanical engineering, a team of UoB students consisting of Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Maatouq, Ibrahim Halim Ali, and Yousef Abdul Ghaffar Abdullah won the first place.
