A lecture reviewing ways to employ applications in enhancing teaching and learning Students of “Applied Studies” at the University of Bahrain learn about the applications of artificial intelligence

Students of the College of Applied Studies at the University of Bahrain were introduced to the basics of artificial intelligence and its modern applications, during a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Applied Studies”.
The students and faculty members listened to Dr. Jassim Haji, Chairman of the Global Group for Artificial Intelligence, explain the basics of artificial intelligence and its applications, and how artificial intelligence can transform vocational education, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence components into academic curricula, the uses of artificial intelligence in supporting academics, enhancing teaching and learning processes, in addition to using artificial intelligence to identify the skills required in the labor market.
Dr. Wafa Hasan Al-Madani, Director of the Engineering Programs Department at the College of Applied Studies, said: “The aim of the lecture is to contribute to the further development of the knowledge and skills of faculty members as well as students, which contributes to raising the capabilities of the college’s graduates and enhancing required future skills. The topic of the lecture was chosen, given the growing importance of artificial intelligence in various fields, including technology, industry, education, and even scientific research.” “The lecture was enriching and interactive, and opened new horizons for employers and those involved in program development to explore more on the use of artificial intelligence and the development of technical and technical education,” she added.
