The University of Bahrain and the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University Sign a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Collaboration

The University of Bahrain and the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University in the Kingdom of Thailand signed a memorandum of understanding for collaboration in the fields of scientific research, exchange of scientific expertise, organizing joint academic activities and scientific research programs, as well as exchanging researchers in various fields.

 

On this occasion, Dr. Fuad Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, stressed that UoB seeks to attract experts in various fields, to benefit from them in developing scientific research. He noted that collaboration with the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University comes within the framework of operationalizing the principle of partnership in exchanging academic expertise and achieving mutual benefit in the fields of training and scientific research.

 

For his part, Professor Winai Dahlan, the founding director of the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, appreciated collaboration with the University of Bahrain, noting that it includes various scientific expertise. He stressed the importance of benefiting from such expertise, and from the University’s experiences in training and student activities, in a way that would achieve the interests and aspirations of the two universities.
