During His Reception of the Chief Advisor of the Wheelock College of Education at the American University The President of UoB Praises the Constructive Cooperation Between BTC And Boston University

The President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, received a delegation from Boston University in the United States of America, headed by Professor Dr. Lisa Ijiri, Senior Advisor to the University’s Wheelock College of Education, in his office at the University’s headquarters in Sakhir, in the presence of Dr. Lucy Bailey, Dean of Bahrain Teachers College (BTC).

Al-Ansari praised the joint and constructive cooperation between BTC and Boston University in implementing the Master’s program in educational leadership, which Boston University offers through BTC, stressing UOB’s keenness to expand the scope of cooperation to other colleges after the success of the experience at BTC.

UoB had concluded a cooperation agreement with Boston University in April 2022, concerned with offering a master’s program in education in “educational leadership and policy studies”, through collaboration between the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development and BTC, targeting school leaders, to build their skills and knowledge in raising school performance and increasing the quality of educational outcomes in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
