Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain inspected the progress of the educational process for university students who attended today (Sunday), February 11, 2024, during the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024.
Dr. Al Ansari praised the measures taken by the concerned departments in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic to ensure the flow of traffic in and out of students entering and leaving the university entrances, noting at the same time the regularity of internal transport movement between colleges, and the availability of parking near various buildings.
The University President visited a number of colleges and university facilities, to check on the orderliness of study without any problems, especially for the students of the College of Engineering, who recently moved to the university’s headquarters in Sakhir.
The university recently moved three departments in the College of Engineering from Isa Town campus to the Sakhir campus: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Architecture and Interior Design.
Dr. Al-Ansari pointed out that the university has harnessed all its capabilities to facilitate the transfer of students of the College of Engineering to the university’s headquarters in Sakhir. Students of the electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and civil engineering programs have settled in their classes in the buildings of the faculties of information technology and science, hoping to complete all equipment for students of the architecture and interior design programs, who will study online, pending the completion of maintenance work in the building they will occupy.
He stressed that the university continues to support and develop the infrastructure – such as test laboratories, research laboratories, and classrooms – and digitize university services, to facilitate procedures for students, in a way that helps them achieve educational achievement and achieve their goals during the university stage.
