UoB: Developing Initiatives to Preserve the Environment and Sustainable Development

Dr. Fuad Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, met with an internal committee working to comply with the requirements of the Green Matrix World Ranking for the year 2024, headed by Dr. Humood Abdulla Naser, Associate Professor at the Department of Biology at the College of Science, on Tuesday (February 20, 2024), at the university’s headquarters in Sakhir.

The meeting discussed the most prominent development projects and progresses in the aspects of improvement in the six classification axes: infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water, transportation, education, and maintaining advanced positions in other axes, as well as methods that reflect the latest developments in the environmental affairs on the University of Bahrain’s environmental sustainability policy.
