Subah hailed Exceptional Employee at the University of Bahrain within the “Exceptional Youth” initiative

The University of Bahrain (UoB) has selected Abdulla Subah, a faculty member at the College of Information Technology, as an exceptional employee as part of the “Exceptional Youth” Initiative at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, which aims to motivate young national cadres towards continuous development.
Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, praised the adoption of a National Youth Day on the twenty-fifth of March every year, that works towards enhancing national efforts for the youth sector’s development, and translates the royal visions to empower youth’s effective contribution to sustainable development.
Dr. Al-Ansari noted Subah’s efforts who has been working as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Bahrain since 2015, and has represented the university in several research projects in cooperation with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
He noted that Subah played an vital role in transferring technical knowledge from the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) to the University of Bahrain, through his participation in the establishment of the Benefit Advanced Artificial Intelligence and Computing Lab at the College of Information Technology at the university, which facilitates conducting scientific research with scientific and pioneering methods in the fields of artificial intelligence and computing.
Abdulla Subah is the Operations and Software Management Officer at the BENEFIT Advanced AI and Computing Lab where he is responsible for monitoring systems and performance.
The University President stressed his appreciation for the efforts of all young people, members of the academic and administrative bodies at the university, and their tireless work to improve performance, enhance university outputs and develop the work environment at the National University.
Subah has published several scientific papers in cooperation with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), some of which have contributed to improving the performance and reducing costs of high-performance software in the muon detector, and his master’s thesis is published in the library of the European Organization. Subah is the first Bahraini certified trainer for the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) in Artificial Intelligence and Supercomputing and the University of Bahrain Ambassador to the Institute.
