The University of Bahrain and the Royal University for Women Sign a Collaboration Agreement

The University of Bahrain and the Royal University for Women signed a collaboration agreement, in the presence of Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of UoB, and Dr. Riyad Yousef Hamzah, President of RUW.

The agreement aims to boost collaboration in exchanging the academic expertise of the faculty, through teaching one section or more of the other party, as part-time work. The timetables of the faculty shall be taken into consideration so as not to prejudice the teaching process in both universities.

The agreement provides for collaboration in the fields of exchanging external examiners for external assessment of study programs in the majors offered in UoB and RUW, as well as training, professional development, and organizing workshops and training courses for the academic and administrative staff, in compliance with the policy of both parties and in a manner that would not impact the academic and administrative processes in both universities.

The agreement also seeks to achieve collaboration in the fields of scientific research, research projects, organizing and hosting international conferences and local seminars, as well as student activities that serve the common goals of both parties, through paying special attention to collaboration between deanships of student affairs for organizing competitions and events of the artistic, cultural and sports clubs, with the aim of enhancing students cognitive and physical abilities.
