Department of Architecture and Interior Design organizes “Culture and Environmental Design” Exhibition

The Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the College of Engineering organized the “Culture and Environmental Design” exhibition on Thursday (April 25, 2024) in the courtyard near the University of Bahrain Library on the Sakhir campus.

 

The exhibition presented students projects, for the INTA326 course taught to students of the Bachelor of Interior Design, which is concerned with teaching design students how to highlight the cultural aspects and environmental and climatic factors affecting the design process, in order to achieve the value of sustainability. About 100 students participated in the exhibition, organized in around twenty groups, and presented their projects along the road between the library and the food complex, which helped attract a large number of interested students.
