College of Arts organizes a symposium on “The Biography of Bahraini Pearls: Cultural History and Sustainability Pathways” and the “Pearl Notebook” Exhibition

The Cultural and Social Committee of the College of Arts at the University of Bahrain organized on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, a symposium on “The Biography of Bahraini Pearls: Cultural History and Sustainability Paths”, with the participation of five speakers from inside and outside the university. It also organized the “Pearl Book” exhibition, which was opened by the Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Abdulaziz Mohammed Boulila, in the college’s courtyard on campus. Both events were held in celebration of World Heritage Day.

The seminar, which was held at the auditorium of the E-Learning Center, was preceded by popular singing performances by the Galali Folklore Band, where the band presented clips of the divers’s songs and the authentic art of fajri.
