Review experiences and discuss opportunities for joint research PhD students at the Universities of Bahrain and Manchester exchange views on their theses

Graduate students at the University of Bahrain and Manchester University in the United Kingdom reviewed research abstracts regarding their doctoral theses, and exchanged research experiences and expertise, after introducing their professional and scientific backgrounds.
The College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain, in cooperation with the University of Manchester, recently organized an online interactive seminar, in which PhD students in Business Analysis at the University of Bahrain and PhD students in Policy Development and Management at the University of Manchester participated, to review the progress of their projects, and listen to the supervisors’ comments and suggestions, and the opinions of their research colleagues.
Researchers at the two universities reviewed six scientific projects submitted and discussed opportunities for joint research in areas relevant to their research interests.
Dr. Abdulla Khalid Al-Jalahma, Acting Dean of the College of Business Administration, said: “The seminar aimed to exchange views and experiences among graduate students. Students of the PhD program in Business Analysis at the College of Business Administration participated in this experience, which is the first of its kind for graduate students in the college,” noting that “graduate students agreed to exchange research summaries, titles, and research methodologies of interest.”
Dr. Al-Jalahma pointed out that “this seminar comes within the framework of the university’s development plan, which aims at providing an environment that stimulates innovation and creativity.”
