A seminar titled “A Step Towards Graduation… Are you ready?

The Department of Nursing at the College of Health and Sports Sciences at the University of Bahrain organized a seminar, titled “A Step Towards Graduation… Are you ready? This seminar aimed to educate fourth-level students in the Bachelor of Nursing program on the fields of work and opportunities available to them in various health sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

The seminar was attended by a number of representatives of government and private hospitals, in addition to representatives of primary health care in Bahrain. The speakers introduced nursing students to all health sector services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the latest developments in the recruitment process. They also discussed the direction of future plans for the nursing profession in the Kingdom.

 

Dr. Leena Khonji, Dean of the College of Health and Sports Sciences, stressed the college’s keenness to encourage youth energies in the field of health sciences, and to harness all means to prepare students for success in practical life. She said: “The college is interested in providing the necessary support and guidance for students in order to excel in the field of nursing.”
