UOB Wins the BDC Award in The Learning and Teaching Category for its Electronic Admission Service

The University of Bahrain (UOB) won the Bahrain Digital Content Award (BDC Award) in the Learning and Teaching category for its electronic admission service, which took place at the annual ceremony held by Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTC), at the Gulf Convention Center in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, President of the Shura Council.

After receiving the award, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of UOB, expressed his joy at the University receiving this award, noting that all student services at the University are done electronically, after the completion of the campus digitization project, and as a result of the great efforts made by the University’s Information Technology Center.

Moreover, Al-Ansari added that the electronic admission service at UOB came as a result of the existing coordination between the University and the Information and e-Government Authority, in order to allow government school students to electronically submit applications for admission to UOB.
