UOB Announces Lists of Accepted Students and Invites Them to Confirm Admission Online
Today, Wednesday, 31 July 2024, the University of Bahrain (UOB) announced the admission results of students applying to join the University for the academic year (2024/2025) who met the admission requirements for various programs in accordance with the principle of competition, which is based on students’ high school cumulative GPA.
Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, President of UOB, confirmed that the university continues to receive high school graduates who meet the requirements.
The President of the University of Bahrain congratulated the admitted students on entering a new stage in their academic career, stressing that the National University will harness all its capabilities to embrace them, support them to move forward in their academic achievement, and develop their abilities.
For her part, Dr. Amal Zayed Al-Zayed, Dean of Admissions and Registration at UOB, explained that students can view the admission results through the student information management system, starting today, Wednesday, 31 July 2024, by entering the link “https://sis.uob.edu.bh”.
Click on UOB Admission Requests, then choose the Post Admission Services, and enter the following:
User Name = University ID
Password = CPR number
Students can also view their results by accessing the national portal (bahrain.bh).
Al-Zayed called on applicants to read and accept UOB’s bylaws and regulations, followed by confirming admission and paying fees during the period starting from today, Wednesday, 31 July 2024, to the following Wednesday, corresponding to 7 August 2024, and during the same period ( 31 July 2024 to 7 August 2024) students who have completed the process of confirming their admission and wish to obtain a seat in another academic program can change their desires, and the process of reviewing and approving applications will be conducted according to the admission conditions, in the event that there are vacancies in these specializations.
The Deanship of Admissions and Registration stressed the importance of students wishing to join the University confirming admission electronically during the aforementioned period, by paying fees through the national portal “bahrain.bh”, to preserve their academic opportunity and their seats in the academic programs to which they have been accepted, noting that failure to confirm admission in the aforementioned period shall be considered an acknowledgment by the student of his dismissal of enrollment in the University.
Furthermore, she explained that students will be later informed about the dates to receive their academic schedules, as classes begin on 8 September 2024.
Additionally, she stated that some students who applied to join the university and were not admitted to the programs of their choice, were placed on the waiting list, and they must enter through the student information management system “https://sis.uob.edu.bh” by going to the aforementioned link and clicking on (UOB Admission Requests), then choosing the (Post Admission Services) to reconfirm their request to join the University, and specify their new desired programs according to the available vacancies.
Regarding the English language exam for admitted students, the deanship stated that the exam will be held on 2-3 September 2024, noting that the exam date will be shared via SMS, and that the result of the English language exam will result in classifying students into the first or second levels in the orientation program or into the first year in the academic program.
