A Student from BTC Publishes a Book on Calculation

A student from the Bahrain Teachers College at the University of Bahrain, published a book on strategies for resolving mathematic equations.

The book written by student Jaafar Tahir al-Ghanmi – a third year – was titled: ” Wonderful Rules from a Compendium of Calculation “, suitable for adults as well as youngsters, and speaks of computational strategies for resolving multiplication issues, quoted from an old book that puts forward the compendium of computational operations. The writer contributes to the dissemination of these strategies for the benefit of teachers and students.

“I found a valuable vintage book, with strategies and ways to solve different math equations, most of which I did not come by during my school years, so I tried to quote some of the strategies in the book that suited teachers and students to benefit from in the educational process.”

He added: “I also aspire to quote more strategies in the book, and to prepare other books that complement what I have developed in the first book, such as reviewing strategies for resolving issues of division, collection, subtraction, etc.”

The author is the first of its kind for the student, written in 54 pages of small size.
