Department of Mathematics Organized “Data-based Methods of Pricing non-Life Insurance in Today’s Market”

The Department of Mathematics at the College of Science organized a workshop entitled “Data-based methods for pricing non-life insurance in today’s market”, as part of its activities for students of the actuarial science program.

The workshop was presented by Syed Azadar Haider and Mirza Ali, Directors of Actuarial Services at Badri Management Consultancy, who presented insurance companies’ methods of non-life pricing, data types and applied examples using the technical statistical data analysis program.

The workshop was attended by fourth-year students in the department’s actuarial sciences specialization, along with some graduates of the program, and a number of department professors and those interested in the field.
