Seminar on Budgeting In Action

The Department of Accounting at the College of Business organized two seminars entitled “Budgeting in Action: Practical Strategies”, for the college students.

The first interactive symposium was delivered by Mr. Ali Mohamed Abdulla, Supervisor – Management Accounting & Financial Reporting at Bahrain Aluminum Company “Alba”. As he discussed the financial budget and the budgetary environment and pointed out that the starting point in preparing the main budget is the preparing the sales plan. The second symposium was delivered by Mr. Hasan Mohamed Taqi, Head of Finance at The Family Office (TFO), he reviewed the concept of budget, budgeting process and budget preparation responsibilities.
