College of Arts hosts “Bahraini Heritage” travelling exhibition

The College of Arts at University of Bahrain organized the travelling exhibition “Bahrain Heritage Tour” in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities. The visual exhibition through a screen assembled in the college’s courtyard reviewed artefacts temporarily displayed at the French Louvre Museum, using virtual reality technology.

The unique artifacts date back to the periods of Delmon and Tylos, spanning thousands of years BC. The exhibition attracted students of the college, especially students of the Department of Social Sciences, as well as professors.

Dr. AbdulAziz Moh’d Bulaila, Dean of the College of Arts, expressed his pleasure at hosting the exhibition, which contributes to accessing landmarks of Bahrain’s ancient heritage and promotes identity and belonging to land that is deeply rooted in history, noting that artefacts clearly refer to Delmon’s relations with neighboring civilizations, such as the Sindh Valley, the Rafidain and Mejan.
