6th Sustainability and Resilience Conference discusses Innovative Strategies & Solutions

Leading experts discussed innovative visions and strategies for advancing sustainable development at the 6th Sustainability and Resilience Conference hosted online by the University of Bahrain on December 22-23, 2024.

Dr. Fuad Mohamed Al-Ansari, President of the University of Bahrain, highlighted the topic’s significance, emphasizing its alignment with the University’s efforts to lead impactful initiatives that enhance practices and strengthen collaboration between academic institutions, research organizations, and industry. Noting the conference serves as a crucial platform for sharing valuable insights on pressing scientific issues and fostering the development of creative, innovative solutions.

The conference explored seven critical themes related to sustainability and resilience as participants discussed key topics, mainly: green energy solutions, circular economy models, water resource management and conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation, policy frameworks, financing and incentives for sustainable practices, and cutting-edge technological innovations.

The event brought together a diverse group of international experts, academics, and practitioners, alongside University of Bahrain faculty members and postgraduate students, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and paving the way for actionable outcomes.
