University of Bahrain joins the European Foundation for Management Development

The college of Business Administration announced that the University of Bahrain is now a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The EFMD is recognized globally as an accreditation body for business school programs. It supports 966 members across 90 countries, to promote and enhance excellence in management development globally.

The College of Business Administration affirmed the EFMD would enable it to achieve its mission to prepare and inspire its students- tomorrow’s managers, and to provide excellence and innovation in education through skilled faculty, and to launch research that positively affects Bahrain and the region.

The College of Business confirmed that joining the European Foundation for Management Development and other international educational institutions contributes to promoting Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility in leaders and managers. The University of Bahrain is keen to develop its training services and implement its strategic objectives in line with the sustainable development goals, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

This accomplishment represents the commitment of the University of Bahrain towards offering quality business education by following best international practices and enabling Bahraini students to be highly qualified and competitive at a local and global level.

The European Development Foundation organizes conferences and seminars all over the world for the management development industry. It also publishes the Global Focus, an EFMD business magazine with in-depth updates on the international management development community and insight from leading experts.
