Graduation Projects Exhibition of UoB Engineering Students Next Week
UoB Engineering College will organise next week its quarterly exhibition of students’ graduation projects on campus in Isa Town.
The exhibition, due to be held next Tuesday, will be under the patronage of the UoB President, Prof. Riyad Hamza. It also enjoys the interest of the entrepreneurs’ sector and business incubators, inside and outside the University. Industrialists, firms and government representatives are always keen to attend the exhibition.
The graduation projects represent six engineering programs of the Engineering College: Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, Instrumentation and Industrial Operations, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The projects were subject to the discussion of judges from the University, as well as experts from companies and ministries.
UoB encourages its students to convert the graduation innovative projects into lucrative commercial projects by virtue of producing and marketing the projects. UoB also assists its students to establish their own projects, an issue that promotes businesses and assists positive advancement of the national economy.
UoB took the initiative of establishing the Businesses Incubator in 2009 in cooperation with Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), to encourage students incept innovative projects by means of benefiting from the administrative and consultative facilities provided by the Incubator.
