Minister of Education sponsors “Careers Day”17 at UoB

In its seventeenth edition

Dr. Haya Al-Nuaimi: 31 participants of different ministries and institutions from inside and outside Bahrain

Dr Haya bint Ali Al-Nuaimi, Vice-president for Community Service and Alumni Affairs, announced that the organizing committee of the Careers Day 17 has finished the registration procedures of the ministries, institutions and the companies participating in the exhibition for this year. The number has reached 31 bodies of private and public sectors from inside and outside Bahrain. These bodies are interested in diversifying opportunities for communication with students and graduates of the University of Bahrain, and meeting them closely to raise the level of awareness among them of the needs of the labor market.

Dr Al-Nuaimi mentioned that the 17th Careers Day will be held under the sponsorship of H.E. Dr Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Education, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at UoB. The exhibition will take place between the 13th and 15th of March 2017 at UoB, Sakhir.

The Vice-president for Community Service and Alumni Affairs appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee of this annual exhibition for preparing the dialogues between students and the participating companies. She also praised the committee for the quality of the brochures that include the main points the students need before attending the exhibition. The brochures consist of guidelines in self-marketing and the ideal way of asking questions.

Dr Al-Nuaimi urged all the students and the graduates of the University to take the opportunity to exhibit the best of what they have in order to achieve their future and career ambitions, and to add a career success to their scientific success.
