Through smooth Admission and registration processes at UoB, timetables issued to all students

 

The new academic year at the University of Bahrain has started with more than 26,000 students. The University has provided more than 140,000 classrooms and about 6,000 classes for the current semester. Prior to the start, induction days were held for the new students with large attendance, where the students were briefed on the services provided by the University and the study system. They were also introduced to the buildings and facilities of the University and listened to college representatives as their peers who offered useful information.

In this regard, the Director of the Department of Registration and Academic Advising at the Deanship of Student Affairs, Nabil Abdullah Al-Balushi, said that the Deanship has completed all the timetables, and that students can access them through the Student Information management system at the link: sis.uob.edu.bh. He added that the system aims to facilitate the process of add/drop, by allowing the student the possibility of designing his/her schedule from anywhere and on any device without the need to visit the Deanship building in person. Al-Balushi encouraged students to check the latest information and announcements issued by the Deanship of Admission and Registration through the official University accounts on social media.

On the other hand, the Chairman of the Student Council, Abdullah Shawqi Al-Mannai, praised the efforts made by the University in preparing for the academic year and facilitating regular attendance of students. He also requested students to adhere to their timetables and benefit from all the services provided by the University. In addition, Al-Mannai said that he had visited the Deanship of Admission and Registration to view the ongoing work and noted the great attention and tremendous efforts exerted by the Deanship staff around the clock to respond to the Helpdesk queries as well as to complete the procedures of students who had been late for their admission till the final moments since Thursday, which forced the Deanship to intensify the work during the weekend and around the clock in order to prepare the students’ timetables.
