UoB Participates in Arab Standards Day
Laboratories of the Renewable Energy Department at the University of Bahrain celebrated Arab Standards Day 2018 by participating in the Bahrain Standards Exhibition, held under the patronage of HE Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, at City Centre Bahrain, on 29 March 2018.
University of Bahrain represents the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Technical Committee for the GCC Renewable Energy Standards and Storage Systems. Dr. Hanan Al Buflasa, Assistant Professor of Physics, who is specialized in renewable energy is a member of this committee.
University of Bahrain, in collaboration with several international universities and the UK Renewable Energy Center, is preparing to launch renewable energy laboratories specializing in the study of the efficiency of renewable energy devices such as solar panels and their suitability to the climate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
