UoB Students Display their Paintings in ArtBaB

More than twenty UoB students of Fine Arts and Graphic Design displayed 29 paintings in the Art Bahrian Across Borders (ArtBAB) 2019, along side famous painters.

Bahrain’s International Art Fair was organised by ArtBab, in collaboration with Tamkeen and Gulf Air. It was held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center from 7 to 10 March 2019.

Ms. Rawan Al Saati, one of the students who participated in the Art Fair, said that for UoB students to display their work with leading painters from around the world familiarized them with modern and innovative art and gave them the opportunity to meet with artists who have an undeniable impact on artistic production and culture at large.

Dr. Sama Alawi Al Hashimi and Dr. Jamila Mohammed Al Saadoun, both Associate Professors at the Department of Media, Tourism and Arts, supervised the students who participated in the Art Fair.
