UoB Participates in the GCC International Accreditation Conference

Researchers and technicians from the UoB College of Science have recently participated in the GCC International Accreditation Conference, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama, under the theme “Accreditation Impact on Economic Visions and Sustainable Development.”

One of the main objectives of the College of Science is setting up cutting-edge analytical testing and research laboratories that comply with international standards to support the industrial sector in Bahrain.

Dr. Hanan Albuflasa, Assistant Professor of Physics, chaired a session entitled, “Effective Local Strategies to Boost Business Integration.”

A key goal of the conference is to contribute to the common understanding of quality assurance for learning and teaching across borders and among all stakeholders. It provides a platform for discussion and exchange of experiences on standards for international accreditation of higher education institutions and programmes in the GCC.
